East Sussex DJ’s did our wedding on 17th March at Swallows Oast and they were completely amazing! James was so organised and helpful in the run up to the wedding, and absolutely MADE the reception. People didn’t stop dancing the entire night, and so many people have said that it was the best party they have ever been to! Finding the right DJ is key
Whilst wedding planning, I read quite a few times that finding the right DJ is key. From the onset, we knew James was the guy for us! He is so friendly, enthusiastic and professional, but also really enjoys what he does which is so infectious. He was so accommodating to our music requests and played the most epic playlist, EVER! We wanted music which was true to us and isn’t on your standard wedding playlist (Rage Against The Machine, cough cough), and wow did James deliver. His equipment and sound quality was amazing, and he worked alongside our saxophonist brilliantly. People are still talking about the wedding, and we have so many incredible videos of people going nuts on the dance floor. We particularly loved the D’N’B session to finish off the night – AMAZING! Civil Ceremony
This is to thank you so much for the extremely professional DJ service you gave us at our wedding at The Whiteway Centre, Rottingdean on 28 May. I know that we were very demanding because I put together a very precise playlist, with some obscure tracks on it too, and you played it faithfully, varying the order to suit the atmosphere and mood. I requested something obscure – Just a Gigolo – and never thought you would find it but you did! Your voiceover was just right, not too much, and very appropriate – there was minimum interruption to the music and the volume was not too loud. Some of our friends were on the dancefloor the whole evening and never sat down once – and my mum was among them I think! Also, your set up and packing away was not intrusive and it was all done quickly with minimum fuss. I was concerned about the disco as it is so vital to the evening – I need not have worried as it was brilliant Thank you so much again

Thank you so much James for contributing massively to making our wedding the perfect day that it was! Honestly, I couldn’t recommend him enough. James is an exceptionally approachable and endearing guy, not to mention multi talented. As a DJ, he took genuine interest in our song choices, gave us plenty of tips and suggestions, and played everything we wanted and more, with professionalism and the highly skilled mixing that you’d expect. In addition to his DJ set, he included two evenings prior to the wedding not only to discuss our set list, but also to choreograph and teach us our first dance routine! For someone like me with very much two left feet, he made this effective, easy to learn, and above all enjoyable!! As a newly wed couple, me and my wife cannot thank him enough. Thank you so much James! Ps, we enjoyed our first dance so much, we’ve now vowed to perform the routine on every anniversary!

A really genuine guy. He gives a lot of attention to his clients. From an initial meeting to discuss what we were looking for, our music tastes, and giving suggestions. Plus all the extra help and being understanding around having to reschedule due to covid. On the day he was a fantastic DJ and got loads of people up on the dancefloor, plus had no issue doing announcements as needed. Another bonus, a few weeks before the wedding James was happy to give us a few dance lessons so that we could put together a little routine for our first dance. The lessons were great fun and very helpful! Would definitely work with him again.

We decided to hire a DJ for our wedding as we wanted to hear the songs we most love and we found James at the opening day of our venue. He did a fantastic job! Communication pre-wedding was spot on, he was always there to answer all our questions and he didn’t blink once when we had to postpone the wedding. He was all over it! We also gave him some precise instructions for specific songs in our playlist and he followed them all – I cannot recommend him enough! Choosing a DJ is always such a hard task. Get it right and you have an amazing evening; get it wrong and you risk having all your guests leaving saying how bad the DJ was. Luckily with James we struck gold and had a great DJ who played all the right songs, played all of our song requests, and ensured we had an amazing wedding reception. The white LED dance floor and matching equipment looked fantastic. From the initial enquiry, through to the pre-wedding meeting and the night itself – nothing was too much trouble. James even supplied and set up additional speakers for our singer to use to save us the hassle of bringing additional equipment, and saving us further money. Thanks for everything James – highly recommended.

Best DJ Ever
James was our Dj at our wedding on the 18.08.2018 at Bannatynes hotel and he was the best we could of picked. From the dance lesson before hand to the confetti cannons to the amazing white dance floor we couldn’t have picked better. The music was so good there wasn’t an empty dance floor all night. Thank you for making Bella’s party such a memorable occasion – she loved it especially because you spoke with her personally about her music choice and at her age that was really important. You even let her have some ‘naughty’ songs which we deliberately waived so that she felt just that bit more independent! 15-year-olds don’t like having adults around at parties, but you looked so ‘cool’ that the 35 Superheroes obviously felt at home in your presence! You arrived in perfect time so we didn’t panic after all. And I was amazed at how fast you managed to pack up after the bash: we managed to hoover in the last minutes before the Pavilion doors were locked. We’ll be recommending you!

Charity Work
What a great charity event for 13 year old Jake raising funds to go to Japan with the Scouts. Thank you East Sussex DJs for doing the disco on Saturday. Kevin said the music level was just right as it allowed people to be able to talk as well as listen. I hope you enjoyed the evening as well. Really pleased on the amount we raised as it means we have secured the funds for Jake but also we are able to give a donation to the other 4 contingents and some to Jakes home scouts. The time went really quickly. We didn’t get to bed until 3.30 sunday morning. We will be putting some pictures and write up on the facebook which we are going to be using for the run up and also when he is in Japan if you would like to follow him. Thank you again

Mark and I just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to you for making our party so fantastic. Right from the very first conversation I had with you, I knew that I did not have to worry about your side of the evening at all. I know it is your profession and it is “what you do”, but we were so impressed. From set up, to break down and the brilliant bit in the middle, you were a super star, seamless, accommodating and flexible. We have not hosted a party for a very very long time and it was a very special evening for us. Albeit quite an intimate affair, the people present were our very closest friends and we wanted to treat them to a memorable evening.
